STOLITSA I USADBA (The Capital and Mansion), an art publication, illustrated journal of the beautiful life, founded in 1913, and appearing twice a month. It was edited by its publisher V. P. Krymov. The editorial office was located at 59 Kamennoostrovsky Avenue, 31 Kamenny Island, 28 Nevsky Prospect. The journal's focal points were the beau-monde life of St. Petersburg and Moscow, the life of the Russian mansion in its past and present. The periodical published material on the history and architecture of Russian mansions, information about their owners, covered beau-monde life, art, theatre, balls, sport events, amateur plays of both capitals, material on the history of St. Petersburg, Imperial Court nomination reports, engagements and wedding announcements, news from the foreign embassies located in St. Petersburg and the like. P. N. Stolpyansky, G. K. Lukomsky, N. O. Lerner were among the staff contributors. In 1917 the publication was ceased.
