BABUSHKINA PARK, located at 149 Obukhovskoy Oborony Avenue, is situated in the southeast of St. Petersburg, on the left bank of Neva, between Obukhovskoy Oborony Avenue, Zheleznodorozhny Avenue, Farforovskaya Street and Babushkina Street. Its area is 19.1 hectares. The park was recreated in 1920-22 on site of the former Vienna Garden (1880-90). It was named after I.V. Babushkin. A pond was created in the park. Nevskoe Landscape Design Company is located in its north part. The park was designed by landscape architects. It is planted with foliose tree species, divided by rectilinear paths.
