YUZHNO-PRIMORSKY PARK is surrounded by the Peterhof Highway to the South and Doblesti Street to the East and faces towards the Gulf of Finland to the north-west and north. The total area is 58 hectares. The park was designed in 1960-70 by a collective headed by architect A. G. Lelyakov on a waterlogged litterina terrace. The southern part has regular planning with open spaces, alleys of firs, silver firs, lindens, groups of oaks, elms, horse-chestnuts, weeping willows and other trees. There are two ponds with islands in the southern part. A playground has been equipped. The northern part of the park is on an alluvial plane, it is covered with a young forest consisting of birch, grey alder, willow and asp trees.
