SEVERO-PRIMORSKAYA PART, a territory to the north-west of St. Petersburg, between Lake Lakhtinsky Razliv, Bogatyrsky Avenue, Torfyanaya Road and Staraya Derevnya. In the early 1990s, large-scale residential development was launched in the south of this territory, on the raised ground between Primorskoe Freeway and the Gulf of Finland. By the early 2000s, the residential area with the population of about 50,000 people had been formed. In 1998, St. Petersburg Tercentenary Park was laid on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. An extensive vacant territory to the north of the railway line to Sestroretsk is the region of prospective development.
