BELELYUBSKY Nikolay Apollonovich (1845-1922, Leningrad), engineer, scholar in the field of structural mechanics and bridge building. Graduated from the Petersburg Institute for Railway Engineers in 1867, Professor at the Institute from 1873. Lectured also at the Mining Institute and the Women's Polytechnic Courses. Many railway bridges, highway bridges, and tunnels were constructed in Russia according to his projects and under his supervision. Conceived a number of special forms of construction of bridges. In 1905-08, he lived at 4 Serpukhovskaya Street, moving to 14a Bronnitskaya Street in 1910. Buried at the Novodevichye Cemetery.
