FEDOSOV Valery Ivanovich (1941-1990, Leningrad), cinematographer. He graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography and started working at Lenfilm Studio in 1963. He produced his best performance in A. Y. German's Twenty Days Without War in 1977 and My Friend Ivan Lapshin in 1985. Working continuously with director S.S.Ovcharov, he filmed Believe It or Not of 1984, Left-Hander of 1986, and It of 1989. Among other films were Fro directed by R.P.Esadze in 1965; Yaroslavna, Queen of France by I. F. Maslennikov in 1979; I Am an Actress by V. F. Sokolov in 1980; and Afghan Breakdown by V. V. Bortko in 1991. In his camerawork, Fedosov successfully achieved the participation effect. He last lived in Leningrad at 76 Kosmonavtov Avenue.
