January. The science-fiction writer Aleksandr Romanovich Belyayev, the author of novels "Zvezda KETs" ("The Star of KETs"), "Chelovek-Amfibiya" ("The Man-amphibian"), "Golova profssora Douelya" ("The Head of Professor Dawel") and many others, moved to Detskoye Selo from Leningrad. Belyayev's wife Margarita Konstantinovna and daughter Svetlana lived with him (in the house no.15 in Zhukovsky Street) until 1935.
