January. Marina Nikolayevna Petay was appointed as the director of the All-Union Museum of A.S. Pushkin (the Lyceum, the Dacha of Kitayeva are branches of the museum), she worked in this position until 1988. She was awarded the Order of "Friendship of People", two orders " Sign of Honour", many medals. She was conferred the title "Honoured Worker of Culture of Russian Federation" and in 1998 she was conferred the title "Honorary Citizen of Pushkin Town".
