Kokushkin Bridge

KOKUSHKIN BRIDGE, over Griboedov Canal, links Przhevalskogo Street and Kokushkin Lane (hence the name). It was built in 1946-48 (engineer B.B. Levin, architect L.А. Noskov) replacing a timber bridge, which had existed from the 1780s. It has a steel decking and a girder with curvilinear outline below the brace on stone abutments. Length: 18.9 metres, width: 13.1 metres.
