PIONERSKY PARK is located in Piskarevka District, between Mechnikova Avenue, Piskarevsky Avenue and Bestuzhevskaya Street. The total area of the park is 12.4 hectares, including seven hectares of lawn. It was laid out in 1968. Planning of the park consists of both regular and landscape elements. The park is mostly planted with hardwoods - lindens, poplars, oaks, mountain ashes, bird cherries, elms and birches. Separate places are planted with pine, including cedar pine. Bushes of barberries, spiraeas, lilacs, honeysuckles and roses form curtains. Pionersky Park has two functional zones: a well-equipped playground and a ground for meetings and competitions. The House of Children's and Youth Creativity is located on the territory of the park. The park is a recreational zone.
