STROITELSTVO I ARKHITEKTURA LENINGRADA, journal (Leningrad Architecture And Construction Journal), monthly illustrated journal, on the theory and practice of architecture, engineering and construction. Circulated in 1960-81, founded by the Executive Committee of the Leningrad City Soviet, the USSR Union of Architects and Leningrad branch of the USSR Academy of Building and Architecture, was the successor of the Arkhitektura Leningrada (1936-45), and Arkhitektura i stroitelstvo Leningrada, (in 1946-52 came out as a digest, in 1953-59 as a journal). Its publications extensively covered the subject of the history of architecture (primarily that of St. Petersburg - Leningrad), urban development, conservation of architectural monuments and historical environment, published articles and materials devoted to architects of St. Petersburg - Leningrad. From 1982 Stroitelstvo i Arkhitektura Leningrada was replaced by the Leningradskaya Panorama journal, in 1991-99 - Sankt Peterburgskaya panorama.
